Pair of Holmegaard Blue Sculptural Glass Table Lamps Medium, Danish Modern 1970s

About the Item

Pair of Danish midcentury sculptural hand blown glass lamps designed by Michael Bang and made by Holmegaard. They are from the series "Lamp Art Asymmetrisk" (Asymmetrical). They came in 3 sizes and this is the medium version. The lamps have a matte blue grey surface with a polished glass ribbon and a hole with blue ring as accent. Original Holmegaard paperstickers on bottom. Included are new lampshades designed in Denmark and made in Denmark. They are made of woven fabric with some texture and is off white. They have a top covers so they will spread a cosy light downwards. Measurements: Height including lampshade: 45,5 cm (17.91") (height can be adjusted) Height without socket: 23,5 cm (9.25") Width base: ~23,5 cm (9.25") Depth base: ~18 cm (7.09") Diameter lampshade: 28 cm (11.02") Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting. European plug. If you do not use European plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.

    Additions or alterations made to the original: We have added new lampshades. Wear consistent with age and use. The lamps remain in very good vintage condition with full function. No cracks, chips or repairs. The wires are discolored from age. The lamps come with new lampshades as seen in the images.
