Antique English Regency Gilt Convex Mirror

About the Item

An exceptional Regency period convex carved wood, gilt and gesso convex mirror circa 1810. The carved wood pediment of perched dragon with spread wings and coiled serpent tail, cresting a deeply moulded and ornate frame decorated with outer and inner acanthus edge and inner black reeded slip. Retaining its original convex glass with light foxing in areas.
