Antique Architectual white painted Steel Arched Top Window Fanlight Mirror

About the Item

On offer here is an antique architectural steel fanlight captured in a pine frame that was recently converted to a mirror. The sleek steel frame that makes up the fanlight has a resemblance to the peacock’s feathers and has a typical Georgian shape. The steel frame is very thin and it has a distressed off-white paint finish that shows the bare metal in some places. The Georgian fanlight originates in the UK and can be dated circa 1910. It normally would have been situated at the end of the central hall of a mansion. Both the mirror and pine frame are authentic, as is the paint finish. The piece was cleaned in our workshop and new mirror glass panels were inserted. The mirror is clean, solid, and ready for use.
