Amazing and Stylish Italian Hand Crafted Bronze Wall Mirror w. Flower Sculptures
About the Item
Large size and top quality bronze framed mirror in the Arts & Crafts (Jugendstil Style).
Over the years we have sold a number of great quality and unique mirrors and this fine specimen in the Jugendstil Style is right up there with the best. The first thing that catches your eye is the amazing design and its overal shape. It is so pleasing to the eye that it cannot be described as anything other than a true eye-catcher and an absolute joy to look at. The beautifully stylized flowers all around the glass mirror are all made of cast bronze and the patination is to die for. The original glass mirror, by the way, is in perfect condition as well. We date this handcrafted gem to circa 1920/1940. What makes these antiques ever more desirable is that in this day and age it is getting ever harder to find people who are still capable of hand creating a piece of this quality and beauty. For us to have found this work-of-art-mirror in near mint condition, more than made our day. We can already see this mirror gracing someone's hallway or bedroom or it taking pride of place above someone's mantel.
