A stunning 19th century gilt bronze ormolu mounted mirrored three light sculptural wall sconce girandole. Created before electricity was available, this sconce was originally used as a candle holder, with the light of the candle flame intensified by the reflecting mirrored backplate; now electrified, having a lion mask bracket ejecting three scroll arms terminating in faux candle covers, with a beveled glass mirror plate framed by an ornate gilt bronze border, over a rectangular wooden panel in faux tortoise-shell black and dark red paint stain finish, surmounted by a fancy protruding Rococo pierced fiolated scroll flourish figural spread wing eagle finial.
