Brutalist Wrought Iron Porthole Mirror, circa 1960

About the Item

This spectacular brutalist industrial wrought iron wall-hanging mirror originates from France. The rare piece was crafted circa 1960. The massive round shape boasts an incredible metal framing with its original gunmetal patina. This mirror is a reclaimed salvage piece from a building, an old steamboat, or a ship porthole. The wall mirror has an iconic reclaimed flair that perfectly complements modern interiors. The designer of this piece is not known. The dimensions are 18.50 in diameter (47 cm) x 2.38 in high (6 cm). The mirror insert is 14 in diameter (35.5 cm).
