English 19th Century Regency St. Giltwood Mirror Labeled Thomas Fentham and Co.
About the Item
A stunning and extremely decorative English 19th century Regency st. patinated and giltwood convex mirror labeled Thomas Fentham and Co. circa 1830. The original circular convex mirror is framed within an elegant patinated band and mottled giltwood frame with a fine wrap around beaded band and striking circular patinated reserves. At the base are impressive richly carved intertwined dolphins with finely detailed scales amidst foliate designs. The striking top crown displays a stunning dragon at the center with open wings and an arrow tail perched on wonderfully executed rocks flanked by superb oak tree branches with charming acorns. All original gilt throughout.
