French 19th Century Empire Giltwood Wall Mirror with Original Mirror Glass
About the Item
Beautiful Empire gold gilt mirror with neoclassical embossed motifs: a classic French form. A lovely rectangular shape, the surfaces all decorated with gilt-gesso decorations consisting of friezes of foliate scrolls, neoclassical rosettes, and egg and dart moldings. Original mirror glass is lovely! Original plank backing. Bought in the South of France.
