French 19th Century Louis XVI Gilt & Painted Trumeau
About the Item
A charming music-themed giltwood trumeau mirror from France, circa 1870. Topping the piece is giltwood ornamentation of a dainty satin ribbon draped over carvings of a flute and violin, joined by open sheet music for a little duet in any room you hang the mirror in. At the base, two wide feet elevate and protect the elegantly styled molding and original mirror plate, mounted on a dark green painted wood back panel. The mirror is strung with picture wire, ready to hang in your interior. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition. Mirror plate: 18 ¼” H x 14 ⅝” W
