Finely hand hammered iron gold gilt sunburst mirror manufactured in the style of Gilbert Poillerat. France, 1940-1950s.
Rare find.
Elegant sunburst mirror with a frame comprised by alternating pointed rays and metal leaves full of movement. Finished in gold leaf gilding.
This sunburst mirror has a glamourous patina showing its original gold leaf gilding.
Place it alone or as a part of a collection of sunburst mirrors in different sizes to create a wall composition.
Eye-catching Hollywood Regency design. Heavily adorned by the hammer marks thorought.
