About the Item

This 21st-century replica of an Indo-Saracenic mirrored frame showcases a pale yellow hue, mirroring the original sandstone frame from a Gujarati haveli. The top of the frame curves upwards, adorned with intricate carvings and motifs of acanthus, betel nut, lotus, mango, and queen of the night flower, symbolizing fertility, hospitality, purity, prosperity, and enlightenment. Just below the top curve, two Corinthian capitals can be found, decorated with acanthus leaves, pomegranate flowers, and rosaries, symbolizing life and the passage of time. The top part of the mirror is lined with acanthus motifs, adding a touch of elegance and cultural richness. This piece is a beautiful blend of traditional design and contemporary craftsmanship.
