About the Item
A spectacular and most impressive Italian 19th century Baroque st. giltwood rectangular mirror. The mirror frame is fancifully decorated with two bottom 'C' scrolled outer supports flanking a central bottom lattice design amidst foliate scrolls. The two sides and top have similar and richly carved designs of additional scrolls. The central top repeats in a larger scale the wonderfully decorative central bottom crest with a lattice design and exuberant foliate scrolls. All original gilt and mirror plate. Stunning quality and proportions throughout.
