About the Item
A monumental giltwood oval mirror made in Italy in the 19th century. The rococo frame is carved with a large pierced acanthus leaf crest that overhangs the frame with pierced lattice and scrolled acanthus all around. The center frame is beaded and the mirror is finished with a beveled edge.
