This refined pair of Venetian mirrors in Murano glass perfectly balances decorative elegance with artisanal craftsmanship. The rectangular structure, simple in form, is enhanced by a beveled and hand-engraved glass frame-a traditional Murano technique that reflects the high quality of historic Venetian production.
The frames consist of mirrored glass panels on all four sides, each decorated with alternating ornamental motifs: stylized vegetal scrolls and floral elements, likely daisies, engraved directly into the glass using a wheel-engraving technique. These recurring decorations are enclosed within regular square borders, creating a harmonious and orderly visual rhythm, typical of the late 19th-century neoclassical taste.
