About the Item
Mesmerizing Black Forest wall mirror from Austria circa 1890. This rustic wooden mirror has been elaborately made out of basswood in the manner of tree branches and impresses with its unique radial carved corners. The beautiful darkbrown nearly black surface was sealed with a mat varnish. The mirror glass has been renewed during the restoration process. A hand forged ring on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
