About the Item

A stunning and rare antique Italian Cantagalli Maiolica pottery wall pocket moulded with a winged cherub set within a scroll design surround with hanging tassels. The pocket is hand-painted in coloured enamels on a cream coloured ground with a black painted edge with two hanging holes to the back and painted with a black cockerel mark to the reverse and numbered 16.
