About the Item
Impressive American classical spindle bed crafted from fruitwood. The bed features exaggerated tall bobbin or spool turned bed posts that give the bed a dramatic profile. The set includes a headboard, footboard, and two rails. The headboard has an arched center with cornice and is inset with turned spindles. Made in Nashville, Tennessee by Davis Cabinet Company early 20th century. The measurements for the mattress are 54 inches wide by 78 inches long and appears to be for a full size mattress. Beautifully crafted with strong joinery from an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
