Vintage patina nightstand in gray, dating from the 1950s. This night table is in the Louis XV style, recognizable by its curved legs. The waist is carved in round, and dressed with 2 drawers in front. Very beautiful France XXth century Louis 15 style The Louis XV style succeeds the Regency style. It is also called the Rocaille or Rococo style. The inventors of the Louis XV style are true creators in the modern sense of the term, revolutionizing the way of looking at furniture and interior decoration. In this respect it can be compared to the Gothic style and Art Nouveau in the sense that they represent creation and technical advances in the use of materials. The Pompadour, transition and Louis XVI styles will succeed the Louis XV style, which will remain an inspiration found in each of these 3 styles. Many Louis XV style rooms can still be found today in the Palace of Versailles.

Very nice bergere armchair from the Louis-Philippe period, in the Louis XV style. Large comfortable but elegant armchair. The seat and back are well padded (as well as the armrests) to give it a very comfortable and soft seat. The legs are curved, the wood is solid and upholstery nails run through the bottom of the seat and the left and right sides of the armrests. This armchair is upholstered with a fine cream-coloured tapestry with vegetal and floral motifs, bunches of grapes, knots and foliage. The tapestry presents a fine and delicate decoration in light tones.
