Mid 19th Century French Louis Philippe Burl Walnut Nightstand, Chest, Side Table

About the Item

Rare for its smaller scale with a 21 inch width, this nineteenth century Louis Philippe period chest of drawers features a facade of book matched burl walnut. Its three drawers of dovetail construction are appointed with hand turned drawer pulls for the two lower drawers and a key entry in the top drawer. With its simple lines and reverence to beauty, this piece could be quietly appreciated in a bedroom as a nightstand. c. 1830-1848. Includes one key.
