Handcrafted and perfectly hand carved nightstands from circa 1860. If you are looking for a beautiful looking pair of practical night stands then this Victorian duo could grace your bedroom soon. Mind you, this is a real pair, because the doors open in different directions. Very often two of the same antique night stands are offered as a pair when they are not. All handcrafted over 150 years ago and with wonderful materials only these were made for the very well to do, because this size and quality would have cost a small fortune. We think that the pristeen and perfect condition marble tops were replaced at some point in time and they contrast beautifully with the warm colors of the nutwood used in this cabinet. Apart from a few minor imperfections these cabinets are in excellent condition, both inside and out. They Stand as strong and stabile as the day they were handcrafted, they come with stunning Victorian style elements carved out solid nutwood, they both are (and always have been) absolutely free of woodworm, they have the most wonderful patina and both the doors and the drawers (one of which comes with a good working lock and key) still open and shut perfectly as well. Easily (dis)mountable (it takes no more than 2 screws per cabinet) this larger than average and majestic pair of bedside cabinet can easily and safely be placed anywhere you like and it does not take a handyman.
