Stunning and all handcrafted, single door corner cabinet for wall mounting.
For the collectors of great looking and ready to use antiques we also have this all hand-crafted work of beauty from the earliest years of the twentieth century. This wonderful design and finest quality workmanship cabinet comes with the original carvings and the most interesting, impressive and meaningful ofcourse is the phoenix. In this door panel it is no coincidence that it is combined with a flower. Both these ancient symbols have to do with rebirth or the circle of life and that what gives this rare and excellent quality carved cabinet its deeper meaning. The details in the design, the beautifully carved phoenix in the door panel, the quality of the nutwood, the perfect closing door and the perfect working lock, they all show that this piece was created by an artisan who was 'on the top of his game'. The marvelous patina and the easy way in which this cabinet can be mounted via the metal hooks on the back are just some of the other extras that make this a truly enjoyable antique. Over the many years only the two hinges for the door have been replaced and that is why the door opens and closes perfectly.
