Creative Playthings Wooden Rocking Horse Original "Rocking Beauty" Hobby Horse designed in the mid 1960s by Gloria Caranica for Creative Playthings. Constructed of both solid wood and bent plywood. Creative Playthings logo branded to outer side of backrest. Dimensions: 25.25" long, 11.75" wide and 20.25" high. Creative Playthings was an educational toy store and catalogue that was established by Frank and Theresa Caplan in 1945. The goal of Creative Playthings was to provide simple and beautifully designed toys to promote a child’s creativity and imagination.
