Anglo-Indian / Vizagapatam Horn Veneered Watch Hutch of Architectural Form

About the Item

Anglo-Indian buffalo horn veneer on sandalwood watch hutch of architectural form made to resemble a mantle or bracket clock. The front with a pair of spiral columns centering a starburst panel with circular opening within a horn and bone frame raised on a molded base with turned bun feet. The fluted dome top above a molded cornice with a central finial and 8 additional finials on the stepped perimeter. The sides of ribbed horn within horn and bone frame, and the back with a matching door with lock (no key) opening to a hinged pocket for watch storage.
