Two leather bound volumes published in Dublin, Ireland in the mid 1700's. The Journals of the House of Commons of the Kingdom of Ireland from the Eleventh Year of King James the First..., Vol. III., 1753, printed by Abraham Bradley, Dublin, 1,019 page + index, 14.25"h x 9.25"w. The Statutes at Large, Passed in the Parliaments held in Ireland from The Third Year of Edward the Second, A.D. 1310 to the First Year of George the Third, A.D. 1761. Vol. IV, printed by Boulter Grierson, Dublin, 1765, 572 pages, 14.25"h x 9"w The content is fascinating and forms a window into a long past and important time in Irish and British history. Holding these volumes is quite literally holding a piece of history. Condition: Fair, leather on both volumes is worn, stained and with tears. The bindings are sound. There is some water staining to pages. The text is readable and mostly clean. There are no bookplates or writing. The Statues with insect damage to bottom margin of front mat. Please see photographs.
