Austro-Hungarian golden brooche, Vienna, ca 1900 An Austro-Hungarian 14 carat golden brooche with 24 emeralds and an oval cut ruby ​​in the center. The gold brooch has a hammered surface. The brooch has the Austrian-Hungarian gold mark of the Fox with the letter A left of the Fox and the number 4 at the right. The letter A is for Vienna and the 4 means fourth purity of gold (585/1000 or 14 Carat). The left hall mark is faded (difficult to read) Probably the Master sign, see details in the pictures left to the Fox Mark. The Fox hall mark is used before 1922. The brooch also has the Dutch hallmark "J" for the tax stamp (this hall mark is used between 1906-1953) The measurement is 1.3 cm high, 6.1 cm wide and the depth including pin is 0.7 cm. The weight is 6.7 grams. (1 Inch = 2.54 cm) The brooch is in original box
