About the Item
This antique card and poker chip box is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from England and date to approximately 1900 and done in the period Edwardian style. The box is composed of walnut and features a fitted walnut pull out carousel for the poker chips. The inside of the box also has fitted compartments for decks of cards and the top of the box is decorated with ornate marquetry borders. We have not counted the exact number of antique poker chips, so the posted number is approximate, but they are composed of clay with blue, red, yellow and white glaze.
