19th Century Victorian Walnut & Brass Card Games Box, c.1890
About the Item
Antique late-19th Century Victorian walnut cased games compendium. The box itself is protected by a lock and key, the lid applied with decorative brass playing cards, surrounded by corner decorations in the complimentary style. The interior comprising four packs of playing cards, different colour counters, a set of two dice and the locking key. A superb gift and a must have item during the holidays, that will make a real conversation piece and a superb piece of history reminiscent of the bygone era.
