Cutty Sark Ship Model In Glass Case - Amazing Detail
About the Item
The model looks as if we took the original ship and just shrunk it down to 1:78 scale. There is that much accurate detail. The Cutty Sark was a clipper ship built in England in 1869, designed for speed during ocean crossings.
This three masted clipper ship model is displayed in a mahogany glass case. She was the fastest ship ever built in 1869. The ship model is detailed with lifeboats, bell, wheel, cabins, skylights, winch, anchor with appropriate use of chain, figurehead, bowsprit, boom, and all appropriate standing and running rigging. She is mounted on mahogany stand within a glass display case. 20th Century. 21x51x32".

Dr. Auzoux’s Historic Full Sized Horse Model

This is one of the largest and rarest of the Dr. Auzoux papier mâché anatomical models. It’s also one of our most ambitious offerings. This prized 1846 first generation handmade model dates to the mid-1800s. I am told that there are almost 200 separate removable parts. It was recently found tucked away in a barn for over 20 years and is fresh to the market. A handful of Auzoux full size horse...

Large 1930s Ford Tin Goose Tri-Motor Airplane Model
Located in Peekskill, NY
This is a large delicate tin model made around the same time the real Tin Goose was flying. The wingspan is an impressive 40 inches. The wheels are rubber and the 4 part windshield is glass. I'm surprised the model survived in such nice and complete condition for about 90 years. We had a custom display stand made for it that brings it to another level.
Between 1926 and 1933 some 200 Trimotors were built in Ford's own factory. Corrugated metal on great thick monoplane wings was a German development, used in Junker JU-52 planes that were flying the Berlin-Rome-London route. Trimotors were flown by airlines, oil companies and wealthy individuals. The Ford Trimotor...
