Ship Model "Sovereign of the Seas" English Navy Warship in a Glass Case & Stand

About the Item

The Sovereign of the Seas, an early British "First-Rate Ship of the Line" was launched in 1637 and was the most magnificent ship of her era. She was ordered as a 90 gun but at launch was armed with 102 bronze guns at the insistence of the king. She was later renamed Sovereign, and then Royal Sovereign. Not sure of when or where the model was built but she is amazing.
