Amazing Arma Christi, circa 1850 We are proud to offer an amazing museum quality circa 1850 Arma Christi. Likely German or Austrian in origin, an exceptional example with each individual detail hand carved in wood. With all its original paint still intact, sections include a corpus Christi, tools and symbolic accoutrements attendants, Maria and John over Christs resting tomb. A similar artefact but not in as good condition is currently housed in the Mesner Museum religious relic section. Quite simply this is an amazing rare and highly desirable religious relic in overall wonderful condition for its age. Dimensions in inches: H 18” x W 8” x D 2.5” Origin: Austrian or German Age: 1850-1860 Material: Wood Condition: This item is completely solid in structure and form, aged patina with weathering has taken place across all its surfaces.
