Early 19th Century English Leather Bound Illustrated Family Holy Bible

Printed in Bungay, England by Brightly and Childs circa 1814, the book showcases a sturdy leather binding with a prominent red title label marked “BIBLE” and gold tooling along the spine bands. The bible is an edition of The Self-Interpreting Bible by Rev. John Brown. The title page highlights its extensive content, including paraphrases, chapter analyses, introductions, notes, and evangelical reflections. It also being “embellished with forty beautiful engravings.”
