Impressive Antique Brass Dolland & Co. Telescope With Case for Restoration

About the Item

Large antique Dolland & Co brass telescope with labeled wood box with accessories as shown. Engraved brass lens G. Dollond, London. Comes with tall wooden stand or smaller brass tripod stand. The label reads "G. Dollond, London, Optical, Mathematical and Philosophical Instrument Maker to her Majesty, 59 St Pauls Church Yard, London". The telescope is being sold for decorative purposes and the working condition is unknown and considered requiring professional restoration. Dimensions taken as displayed: 43" L tube, 59 1/2" to top of tripod, 34 1/2" W at base Box - 9" D, 45 1/4" L, 6" H Condition: Please see detail photos. There is wear and scratches to wood, minor dents to cylinder, stable age cracks to box. Working condition unknown.
