Mid-Century Modern Retro Pink General Electric Model C400 Tube Table Radio



This table radio was produced by the Canadian General Electric Company in approximately 1960 in the period Mid-Century Modern style. The case of the radio is done in a bright marbled bubble gum pink and white, with contrasting blood red or burgundy dial and knob. The original grill cloth is done with a gold tone weave. This radio is currently not in fully working order, but is highly decorative and could be restored.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. No chips, cracks or deep scratches on the case. Dial and knob show some wear. The radio powers up, but makes a loud humming sound and some reception of a station was obtained, but the sound was garbled.
