Ivory 1949 Emerson Model 581 Plaskon AM Tube Radio Golden Age Beauty
This radio was initially crafted using plaskon plastic, an enduring precursor to contemporary polycarbonate and styrene-based plastics. Manufactured by Emerson in the late 1940s, this exquisite AM tabletop tube clock radio remains in excellent working order. It boasts an appealing Art Deco design.
Original matching factory plastic tuning and volume knobs are securely attached with no broken attached posts. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. The volume on/off switch is original and securely attached.
