Hardy Bros. Split Cane Palakona Fly Rod. An Edwardian three piece split cane fly rod in original condition with Hardy's canvas bag. The 10'6" fly rod with 'Lockfast' joints, cork handle and Hardy's 'W' reel fitting (Regd 16.8.73), brass spear to screw into the end of the handle and the inscription around the shaft 'Palakona Regd. No. 246936'. The rod has the registration number A 4001 dating it to between 1900 - 1916. The tip with a set but still usable. Dimensions: Height 319.91 cm / 126"
