About the Item

This Waimea gun is a rare piece of surfing history from a limited run late 1970’s collaboration between surfing legends Herbie Fletcher and Bill Hamilton. Features a vibrant orange deck / yellow rail wrap with black pinstripe detailing, super pintail, and a glassed on multicolor single fin, this board comes in at around 9'. Only around 12 boards were made with this particular combination of Fletcher’s “Arrow” and Hamilton’s “Ace in the Hole” logos. B. Hamilton signature, serial number 009. Beautifully restored by Ed Searfoss of Country Surfboards fame.
