Antique Chinese Natural Double Gourd Snuff Bottle
About the Item
Antique Chinese Natural Double Gourd Snuff Bottle, Qing Dynasty. The long natural gourd is referred to as a double gourd having a cinched waist center with the bulbous bottom representative of the earth and the smaller bulb on top representative of heaven. The mouth of the bottle is fitted with an affixed coconut collar. The stopper of a carnelian cabochon attached to a vinyl collar and a carved spoon of an organic material.
Condition: Minor natural surface blemishes, otherwise fine.
Measuring overall: 3.5cm in diameter x 6.8cm.
Weight: 6 grams.
