Rare pair of bookends made from natural hippo teeth.
Perfect to display your favorite books on a nightstand, mantel, dresser or shelf. Certainly a topic of conversation.
The antique set of books shown in the photographs are not included in the sale.
Measures: 7 1/2" high x 8 1/8" wide x 3 3/8" deep
These natural specimens turned bookends were taken from an animal that perished due to natural causes, they were not hunted for a trophy according to the gentleman from whom we purchased these objects of curiosity whose father purchased them on a tour in Africa. No animal was harmed for these natural specimens.
