Columbus DUO Terrestrial Globe Germany, 1950s

About the Item

Columbus DUO terrestrial globe, glass, brass and wood, Germany, 1950s. Globe made of glass, suspension made of brass with feet on wood, representation of a political map of the earth from the 1950s, on a tiltable and rotatable sphere projection, 50cm high, 40cm wide. Age-appropriate signs of wear and rubbing. Globe with minor discoloration and staining, partially with cracks in the map, suspensions slightly loose, holder with abrasion and minor traces of oxidation, feet partially loose and with flaking.
