Antique Victorian Style Four Panel Screen
About the Item
A colorful and very decorative four-panel Screen/ Divider with dozens of affixed images depicting all sorts of Victorian scenes. Images include portraits, animals, children, butterflies, flowers and Native Americans. The images on the facing side and the reverse covered in an embossed paper backing that simulates black leather. Two affixed metal carry handles at each end panel.
Dimensions: each panel is 21” wide (84” total) by 70” high by .75” deep.
Condition: Distressed. Various signs of age include a few rough edges, tears and aging to the images, loose areas of the backing tape that require re-gluing or tacking as well as some tears to the backing. Despite the wear the Screen presents in an authentic and delightful manner.
