This vintage Chinese folding screen features four arched panels, richly lacquered in deep black and decorated with intricate gilt motifs. The front face showcases a luminous composition of flowering branches and elegant birds—cranes, peacocks, butterflies, and sparrows—rendered in gold leaf with fine linework and dramatic contrast.
