A handsome hand-painted oriental screen / room divider, 20th century

About the Item

A handsome vintage oriental partition or room divider, 20th century. Hand-painted with Asian birds and flowers in tones of licorice, maraschino, and frond green against a glowing golden backdrop. The verso of the partition is ebonized wood with bronze painted bamboo. Note the gorgeous vintage hardware - gilt screws that go in between each panel of the screen. Each panel is 15.75” W x 1” D x 72” H 63.5” fully splayed out 30” folded
