Stunning 1920s Japanese room divider / folding screen.
Decorated with bold calligraphy, usually a mythical or allegorical tale.
The silver leaf border gives this screen a particularly Art Deco feeling and may have been influenced by Western movements of the time.
In well-used and well looked after condition, with a few knocks and rips in places.
