The rare and beautifully hand-painted tiles depict various scenes taken from the bible. One depicts Adam and Eve at the tree of wisdom and then there are famous scenes from the book of Matthew, the book of Job etc. This very large and impressive coat rack with its quality carvings, its many inserts and the rare tiles is a work of art in its own right and it is in excellent condition. At the same time it as a highly practical wall coat rack with a combination of great quality brass and wooden hooks and a spacious top shelf. Thanks to the two heavy, metal hooks on the back this monumental coat rack is easy and safely mounted on your wall as well.
