Very Tall 19th Century French Shabby Original Painted Hat Stand

About the Item

Very tall 19th century French Shabby original painted hat stand, shop display The stand came from a milliners’ shop in France, it has a turned upright column set on a round turned base with a domed top rest This one is in its original shady green paint with a decorative flower petal pattern on the hat dome, the condition of the paint is neglected and worn but the stand is good and sound, with a small shrinkage crack The hat stand is 33” high and 8” across at the base AC163.
