Vintage 19th Century French Hat Block, Shop Display

About the Item

Vintage 19th century French hat block, shop display This is one of a collection of milliners hat forms, they come from Lyon and date from before 1900 This block is made in fruitwood, the shape an oval pill box and it is on a stand The hat on the stand is 8”tall and 7” x 6”wide The block is lightly cleaned to remove the old glue etc. and treated for woodworm WD121.
