About the Item

Empire revival inlaid satinwood canterbury rack circa 1980. 1980’s reproduction of an empire style canterbury.  3 compartments for magazine and newspaper storage, with a single drawer below.  Standing on a quadriform base and flat brass castors. Each compartment with lyre forms to the side.  Ebonised  pen inlay from drawer front with further ebonised elements. Restorations to woodwork, expected surface marks from use.
