About the Item

Made in the 19th Century, this vessel was hand-carved from hornbeam wood and has substantial weight. It is wrapped in a leather hide. We love the beautifully tactile and naturally weathered surfaces that give the vessel a sense of time and history. Dimensions: 12.5 in. width 11 in. depth 17.5 in. height Condition notes: In good condition. Visible wear throughout and some soiling to leather hide that are all consistent with the vessel's age and use.
