This original vintage Bauhaus style umbrella stand was produced in the 1950s in Germany. The umbrella holding element on the top are made of solid brass in a nice looped form, the heavy beige metal base element is made of cast iron. the looped stand element in white and red made of metal with a plastic surface material. Straight forward and minimalistic design of the Bauhaus design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The design is reminiscent with the design of Hagenauer, Auböck etc...

This item is in a good vintage condition with normal traces of use and a wonderful patina of over 60 years. several rust spots underneath the stand caused by water influence.
