This original vintage Minimalist umbrella stand was produced in the 1950s in Germany by Vereinigte Werkstätten München. It is made of solid metal with hole pattern applications in mategot style. the top has a brass edge finish and a looped handle. High quality German production of the 1950s, highly collectible and very rare to find. Straight forward and minimalistic design of the Bauhaus design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The item still remains in a good vintage condition, due to the age the umbrella stand has some little dents and normal surface patination, water caused little rusty spots.
